Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 will showcase an Ikebana Exhibition in celebration of 60 years of Singapore–Japan diplomatic relations (SJ60), together with the heartfelt occasion of Mother’s Day.
This special event honours both enduring friendship and the beauty of maternal love through flowers. Themed “Everlasting Friendship Through Flowers”, it will exhibit blossoms of joy with haikus expressing love, gratitude, and appreciation.
One can also look forward to Hana Musubi—an art form where kimono obis are tied into floral designs presented by The Kimono Consultant Association (Tokyo), and 10 kimonos with the floral obis will be showcased for the first time in Singapore.
