Butterflies are ancient and mysterious creatures; we are both familiar and unfamiliar with them at the same time, appearing to be intimate yet having a strong sense of distance.

The life of a butterfly spans only one season, from the fragile egg to the feeble larva. Having spun its own cocoon, it subsequently metamorphoses into a winged beauty. After breaking from the cocoon, it gracefully dances in the sky, flying over thousands of miles to fulfill its mission, then disappears without a trace.

The butterfly’s life is brief yet rich, full of twists and turns, bittersweet yet tenacious; it coexists within the harmony of strength and gentleness as would an everlasting marriage.
