THE PERSONAL STYLIST EXPERIENCE

TERMS & CONDITIONS (SHOPPER – PARAGON)

The following Terms and Conditions shall apply to all persons (each hereinafter referred to as the “Shopper”) who apply for, book, or participate in the Paragon Personal Stylist Experience administered by Paragon.

1. Definitions & Service Nature

  • The Personal Stylist Experience (“Service”) is a concierge-facilitated service administered by Paragon.
  • Styling services are provided by independent third-party personal stylists appointed by Paragon.
  • Nothing herein shall be construed as creating any employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between Paragon and the appointed stylist.

2. Bookings & Payment

  • All bookings for the Service require full upfront payment prior to confirmation.
  • An appointment shall be deemed confirmed only upon Paragon’s successful receipt of payment.
  • Service fees are non-transferable unless otherwise expressly determined by Paragon.

3. Payment Failure

  • Where payment is not successfully received within three (3) days from submission of the booking form, due to circumstances beyond Paragon’s control, Paragon reserves the right to cancel the booking.
  • Upon such cancellation, the booking shall be deemed void and no appointment shall be confirmed.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling (Shopper-Initiated)

  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests made at least ten (10) days prior to the confirmed appointment date may be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling, subject to availability.
  • Requests made less than ten (10) days prior to the confirmed appointment date, or failure to attend the appointment, shall result in forfeiture of the full-service fee.

5. Stylist Unavailability

  • Unavailability Less Than Ten (10) Days Prior
    • If a confirmed stylist becomes unavailable less than ten (10) days prior to the confirmed appointment date, Paragon will refund the service fee paid by the shopper. Upon such refund, the appointment shall be deemed cancelled and no further obligations shall arise in relation to the affected booking.
  • Unavailability At Least Ten (10) Days Prior
    • If a confirmed stylist becomes unavailable at least ten (10) days prior to the confirmed appointment date, Paragon may, at its discretion:

      (a) Propose a replacement stylist of comparable experience and profile;

      (b) Offer rescheduling; or

      (c) Process a refund where an alternative arrangement cannot be reasonably accommodated.

6. Service Extension / Overtime

  • Any request by the shopper to extend the confirmed styling session beyond the agreed duration shall be subject to stylist availability and Paragon’s acknowledgement.
  • Overtime fees must be paid in full to Paragon via the designated PayNow QR code prior to the commencement of any extended service.
  • No service extension shall be provided unless payment has been received and acknowledged by Paragon.

7. Paragon Club Reward Points

  • Upon confirmed participation in the Personal Stylist Experience, the shopper shall receive two hundred and fifty (250) Paragon Club points (equivalent to $100 in value) on the day of the confirmed styling session, subject to the shopper being a valid Paragon Club member at the time of the appointment.
  • The points will be issued via a unique promotional code provided by Paragon Concierge on the day of the session. The promotional code must be keyed into the shopper’s Paragon Club account for redemption.
  • The promotional code is strictly for one-time use and is non-transferable.
  • Points will be credited prior to the commencement of the styling session and may be utilised to offset eligible purchases made during the appointment, in accordance with the prevailing Paragon Club terms and conditions.

8. Cooling-Off Period / Non-Circumvention

  • Where a shopper is introduced to or engages the Stylist through a Paragon-facilitated appointment, the Stylist shall not, whether directly or indirectly, accept or enter into any personal or independent styling engagement with that shopper other than through Paragon for a period of three (3) months commencing from the date on which the Paragon-facilitated personal styling session is conducted (“Cooling-Off Period”).
  • This restriction shall apply regardless of whether the subsequent engagement is initiated by the shopper or the Stylist. 

9. Styling Advice Disclaimer

  • All styling opinions, recommendations, and product suggestions are provided by the appointed stylist in an independent professional capacity.
  • Paragon makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability, accuracy, or outcome of such advice and shall not be liable for any decisions or purchases made by the shopper.

10. Retail Transactions

  • All purchases made during the Service are transacted directly between the shopper and participating retailers.
  • Paragon does not act as seller, distributor, or agent for any goods purchased during the Service.

11. Personal Risk Acknowledgement

  • The shopper acknowledges that participation in the Service involves movement within the mall and handling of personal belongings.
  • Paragon shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where caused by Paragon’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Indemnity

  • The shopper agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Paragon, its affiliates, employees, agents, and appointed stylists from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of the shopper’s acts, omissions, or breach of these Terms and Conditions, except where caused by Paragon’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paragon’s total aggregate liability arising from or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the total service fees paid by the shopper for the appointment giving rise to the claim.

14. Personal Data Consent

  • The shopper consents to the collection, use, and sharing of personal contact information with appointed stylists strictly for consultation, coordination, and service delivery purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

15. General

  • Paragon reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion without prior notice.
  • Paragon’s decisions on all matters relating to the Personal Stylist Experience shall be final.
